How to Defeat the Midnight Munch Monster

You've eaten properly all day. You've had your 8 glasses of water. You've done your 20 minutes or more of exercise. Everything is going great. And then...

It's an hour or two after supper, or an hour or two before bedtime. You want something… But what? Hmmm... Where did that bag of cookies come from? You must have bought it, so it has to be all right. Just one couldn't hurt… Then you reach the bottom of the bag. Oh, no!!! Well, this day is ruined. What went wrong?

The Munch Monster got you.

The trick to defeating this willpower-destroying creature is to plan ahead for the inevitable appetite-attack that often comes over you even though you know better.

Have several healthful snacks prepared ahead of time, and you won't be (as) tempted by the tricky treats you know you should avoid.

Here's an example:

I've heard it said that doughnuts are one of the most unhealthful foods in existence (yes, I know they're found everywhere). Of course they're popular. They have it all — they're greasy, fried, sweet, often frosted or creamy-filled.

But if you can't afford the calories or sugar, what can you do?

You can make this…

The Doughnut You Do Not Have to Avoid

1 slice multigrain bread (the best you can find or make)
Soft butter or diet margarine
Powdered sugar substitute (xylitol, erythritol, etc)
Vanilla powder (optional)

Spread the butter or marg THINLY on the bread.
Sprinkle with the powdered sugar substitute.
Sprinkle lightly with the vanilla powder, if you have some.
Eat it SLOWLY, and ENJOY it GREATLY.
Feel superior to those who eat nasty fried doughballs.

Congratulations… You did good!

Defeating the midnight

Defeating the midnight monster is something that we all might struggle to achieve because this is something that we have to understand that basically works a lot and this is the root of all evil. We are all into different diets and easy weight loss tea diets but we cannot give up the midnight monster and that is the main problem that we still cannot understand :)
